Big Shot

I have just treated myself (for Valentines Day) to a spanking new Big Shot.  Never having had a cutitng machine of any description I have justified the Big Shot as a must have - once I progress to an electronic cutter I "must have" the Big Shot to emboss - makes perfect sense to me!!!
This is a card I made for a friend and I just loved this wee bird I cut out using my Big Shot.  Doesn't show up great in the picture but the bird is glitter card and adds just enough sparkle to the card without being over the top.  I used the cut out stencil which was left to decorate the envelope - voila!!!

Happy 2012

New year resolution of blogging weekly already gone to the wall.  Here are a couple of cards I have done this week one for a toddler birthday and one for an adult birthday.  I am afraid I have a mental block at the moment either that or I am just plain mental but all my cards just look the same - need to get some inspiration from somewhere. 

Working on Asda Oscars and will get these posted over the next couple of days.  Also off to a 21st birthday tonight and will get the card on within the next couple of days.

Boxes Galore

Nice little personalised boxes for wee pressies.  Kept them all the same so as not to cause arguments.

Christmas shopping

Just made a start to my Christmas Shopping today.  I am now exhausted.  Wee cup of tea required before heading out to see Gill (my daughter) in the lead part of Spring Awakening.  In the meantime I diverse and here is my first Christmas card for all to see.  Hope you like.

Strange!!!

I have just noticed the last two cards have been for "Christine" and believe it or not my first Christmas card for a friend of a friend is for "Christine".  3 Christines - that is strange!!!!

Christmas card coming tomorrow cos I am off to watch Corrie.

Christmas is coming...

Christmas is coming but just before that we have a lovely 30th birthday - my god-daughter - how old does that make me feel.  I have just recently sourced these gorgeous crystals which I am playing with at the moment - nice!!!
